Christ Church United Methodist

A Reconciling Congregation

Christ Church is a United Methodist congregation in central Denver. Our faith community takes seriously both the heart and the mind as we nurture the spirit of God. You will find a community striving to be real: combining intellectual questions along with heart-felt experiences to seek wholeness in living. We believe you will be welcomed, loved, and embraced in authentic and vulnerable ways. We believe there is a unique place to find hope in the midst of a dark, chaotic, and challenging world -  at the corner of 7th and Colorado.

Our hope is that you will find here a Christian community of integrity that will challenge you and encourage you in your spiritual journey. We invite you to be part of the community we call church.

Even in Awkward Families God Shows Up

Even though your family of origin or choice might be awkward, embarrassing, or even frightening, there is a light that burns bright to remind us of the Messiah coming to our lives. Come celebrate Advent in a more relaxed way, appreciating the awkwardness of your church family. You are encouraged to join the staff and wear awkward Christmas sweaters as we celebrate with a more relaxed Advent. You can get a copy of the Advent brochure with all the activities at the Greeter stand on Sunday mornings, or email the church office for a pdf copy.

Not all aspects of Christmas Eve will be awkward. Please join us for special Christmas Eve Services and invite your family and friends. This year we have two identical later services at 7 & 9pm as well as the "Wiggle Friendly" service at 5pm.
