Christ Church United Methodist

A Reconciling Congregation

Christ Church is a United Methodist congregation in central Denver. Our faith community takes seriously both the heart and the mind as we nurture the spirit of God. You will find a community striving to be real: combining intellectual questions along with heart-felt experiences to seek wholeness in living. We believe you will be welcomed, loved, and embraced in authentic and vulnerable ways. We believe there is a unique place to find hope in the midst of a dark, chaotic, and challenging world -  at the corner of 7th and Colorado.

Our hope is that you will find here a Christian community of integrity that will challenge you and encourage you in your spiritual journey. We invite you to be part of the community we call church.

This week's topic: environmental stewardship.

CROP Walk & Rice Bags

If you have any rice bags you haven't returned in support of CROP Hunger Walk, please return them Sunday to Kathi Moton. It was great to see the ways Christ Church financially supported those living in poverty with resources. Look for an update on the success of the walk soon!

Election Hospitality Help Needed

Christ Church is a voter service center and polling place beginning October 24th this year. We would like to provide hospitality to the volunteers and voters November 7th and 8th as they wait to cast their ballots. We aren't promoting any candidates or issues, and aren't passing out literature on God or our church, just providing a friendly smile, cup of water or coffee, and "thanks for voting!" If you are able to help person this welcome table on either Nov. 7th or 8th, please email Rebecca in the church office.
