A Reconciling Congregation
Christ Church is a United Methodist congregation in central Denver. Our faith community takes seriously both the heart and the mind as we nurture the spirit of God. You will find a community striving to be real: combining intellectual questions along with heart-felt experiences to seek wholeness in living. We believe you will be welcomed, loved, and embraced in authentic and vulnerable ways. We believe there is a unique place to find hope in the midst of a dark, chaotic, and challenging world - at the corner of 7th and Colorado.
Our hope is that you will find here a Christian community of integrity that will challenge you and encourage you in your spiritual journey. We invite you to be part of the community we call church.

Social Justice Update from Rev. Laura
This week has been one of looking at the news and the horrible discrimination taking place in places like Mississippi and North Carolina in the name of "religious freedom." We have our own bill here in Colorado that many people in our church, and our partners like The Interfaith Alliance have been working hard against in our legislature. As people of faith...read the rest of Rev. Laura's report here.
Sloppy Singing was a Success!
Thank you to everyone who stayed for Sloppy Joes and Karaoke and helped the youth groupraise funds for their mission trip this summer. We heard lots of great songs including "The Surrey with the Fringe on Top" from Oklahoma sung by Suzie and Richard! The song chosen for Rev. Megan had her rapping. Angela Heesacker
showed her amazing auctioning skills, and all the youth were brave and stepped up for their turns at the microphone. Between free will donations for lunch and the auctions, more than $1,000 was raised!
Coffee Mugs in June
During the month of June we invite you to bring new or gently used coffee mugs that we can donate to Network Coffeehouse, a local coffee shop that offers a place for our homeless brothers and sisters to come in for a coffee and a place to rest. There will be a collection box in the Giving Center in the Narthex. If you'd like to learn more about Network Coffeehouse check out networkcoffeehouse.org.
